i have a shih tzu puppy who"s nearly 11 weeks old. hes very clingy and at bed time hes put in the kitchen 2 sleep he barks and wines all night. ive had him here for 7 days and we are all completely shattered, we are being consistent and not giving him any attention once we go to bed, please can you offer some advise

Hello, This is very common with puppies the thing that always worked for me was to either let the new puppy stay on the floor in my room or be in the bed with me at night...then the puppy always catches your attention when its potty time. Not everyone wants there dog in there bed I understand in which case you will need to leave a radio on low in thekitchen with your puppy placed where he cant chew its cord, and you should leave a nightlight on, and soft cuddly warm bedding always helps.
