how to train my puppy?

hi my puppy is 5 month she doing really well but we cant seem to be able to make her go out for a wee all the time she has her crate and stays in it for a few hours while im at work when i get back i put her outside and she has a wee but when im at home she doesnt go out she will just have a wee where ever she is how do i get her to go out when im at home? thanks kristen

The answer is you TAKE her outside and praise her when she potties successfully. She should be taken out every two hours or so, depending on when she needs to go. (Keep a journal of when she eliminates.) She must be watched at all times when she is loose, and if you cannot watch her, she should be crated. Do not give her run of the house, but keep her in a more confined area, such as the kitchen, so that you can keep an eye on her. At the first sign of sniffing, get her out immediately! If she does go in the house, deoderize that spot with an enzyme-based deodorizer.
