socializing my yorkie-poo 15 week puppy

Hello I just wanted to know if you could share a couple of tips for me on socializing my puppy. I have taken him to the dog park (small dog section) and it hasn't been a good experience. He usually sits right at my feet and is scared of the other dogs. They will come up to him and he has sniffed a few but then quickly tries to run away and then eventually starts barking (high pitch) and growling (showing teeth) I just don't know what to do..... The other dogs are just trying to play with him and its like he just doesn't want to be bothered.

I would try to find other owners of young, small dogs.  Make sure they are getting the shots and avoiding places with very mnany strange dogs.  The dog park isn't a good place for a 15 week old.  Even with their shots, there is still a chance of picking up a nasty disease.

If he was removed from his litter before 6 weeks or has gone too long without much contact with other dogs, it may be slow going.
