Question
My 2yr.old puggle, Henry, seems to always run off whenever we open our (home) door(s). I love him dearly & take good care of him, so why does he seem to run away? I'd really appreciate any info/response you may be able to provide regarding this behavioral issue. Thank you very much in advance, for (hopefully) taking the time to answer my question.

Answer
Hi Monica, The Beagle part of your Puggle is a hunting dog and needs lots of exercise.  ( ALSO, that nose needs to hunt and sniff)
Exercise your dog at least once a day.
Some dogs run away because they want to stretch their legs and explore.
He may just want to explore and the NOSE is leading him away.
Also, if he gets neutered, that will help him to stick around the house.
