My Jack Russell wont eat her own food, she prefers to eat the leftover food that my cat doesn't want. Is this just a weird habit?

Thank you for writing to me about your Jack Russell's eating habits.

It seems that the food you are currently feeding to you dog, isn't appealing to her.  She might be allergic to it and it upsets her stomach. Try switching to a human grade high quality dog food such as Bravo, Primal, Paul Newman, Biljack, Call of the Wild, Solid Gold Fish & Potato etc.

A little trick I use to get dogs to eat their food with gusto is to sprinkle in some Peccorino Romano mixed with water.  It's kind of like a cheese soup and dogs love cheese.
