older dog with back leg problems

I have a 11 year old Keeshond dog that has started to shake in the back legs, also sometimes hard to get up.  The problem started about a year ago.  Is this just due to old age?  thanks.

If you have absolutely ruled out being hit by a car or any other kind of accident.........
Your Keeshond may have hip dysplasia, but it's hard to say just by your description.   It may also be severe arthritis.  I would definetly take him/her to  a veterinarian.  Yes, the age does have something to do with it, but treatment may make a big difference.  I hope you will at least take him/her to a vet to see exactly what you are dealing with.
