pooping inside

Question
We have a 2yo Lhaso Alpso mix.  We live in the counrty and usually let him run when he is outside.  A few weeks ago someone picked him up and took him to the humane society because they said he was in the road (although he NEVER goes in the road).  Ever since he has come back he has been peeing and pooping in the house. He does it right in front of us like he wants us to see it. Most of the time he comes in from being outside for 30 minutes and will follow me through the house and when I stop he poops. My husband is getting really mad and says we are going to have to get rid of him. Hate to say it but I agree, we are having a baby in a few months and can't have a dog constantly going to the bathroom on the floor.

Answer
Dannielle,  Sounds like he may have a Urinary infection and some parasites?
Why don't you have him check out by the Vet.  Just make sure it's not medical.
He could have picked up something Nasty from the pound.
Also, he may be stressed because of the " pound " experience.

Best wishes on the new baby!  Call your local rescue groups for help if you need to find him a new home.  I bet they would have someone who can work with him.
