moth eaten ears

please help my corgi has what appears to be moth eaten ears on the tips of both ears. It looks like some of his fur has been eaten away. Help us please thanks Gina and Gizmo

Hi Gina,

Your dog's ear tip problem can be several things, ranging from poor nutrition, Sarcoptic Mange, hereditary factors, a hormonal condition, to fly-bite dermatitis, with maybe 100 things in between.

Treatments will vary depending on what the diagnosis is, and you will need a vet for that. What's the use of guesswork? Your dog needs answers!

Please do the right thing and have your dog promptly examined by your veterinarian.
