Question
is cheese bad for poms

Answer
It is okay **IN MODERATION**, which for a pomeranian would be a very small amount. Cheese can make a very special training treat when one wants to "party" for a very special accomplishment on the dog's part.

I was showing a bitch once who would only respond to me when I used string cheese for my bait; the dog got me hooked on the stuff *G*.

Just keep in mind that dogs kept slightly on the thin side live 1-1/2 to 2 years longer than those who are not. One should be able to feel the ribs easily (but NOT the spine or hipbones), but not see them... which, of course, would never happen in your case with your fuzzy dog. Also, remember that cheese often tends to be a bit on the salty side, which isn't that good for ANY of us. Moderation....
