Canned Chicken

Hi, I've been feeding my 9 month puppy canned large breed chicken food as a supplement to her dry diet...1/3 of a can since I've had her- 4 months.  This recent recall has scared me off and I'm wondering if it would be ok to replace the canned food with low sodium canned chicken?

There are reasons for this recall and not all brands are affected by the problem, check out the list of brands, then find a brand which is not affected like Pedigree, which is what I feed my dog. There are many more brands of dog food which are of better quality than the one affected by the recall. As with most recalls there may have been a temorary problem at the plant which is being investigated and hopfully fixed. as with any industry problems happen from time to time. As with any dietary change, talk with your vet before implimenting major changes to your dogs diet.
