labrador puppy

Hi I hope you can help,
we have a beautiful golden lab puppy but we are at our wits end wit him.He will not sleep all night.He is 3 months old and we put him into a training crate at night but after a few minutes he is barking and will not stop.We have tried leaving him and he get very bad at barking and then seems to dirty all over crate and mite stop for 1 hour and starts again this goes on all night.The last couple of nights we have got to five in the morning and that is all. He seems to have a separation issue.

we just don't know what to do as we have never had a puppy like that yelped so much.We had a Labrador before and we did not have anything like this

At bed time, with a new puppy, I have found lying down in front of the crate like you were going to sleep and speaking softly to it, or singing, until it settles down and goes to sleep works very well. Follow the pattern, a period of active play, outside to eliminate, and then into the crate.
