dramamine and benadryl

Please don't think I'm terrible for asking this, but here goes.  I am taking my two cocker spaniels to be photographed tonight.  They tend to get so hyper in new situations, and I am wishing that I could calm them down just a little.  Would either dramamine or benadryl be safe and effective for this?

I have scoured the net trying to find a solution for you.  I honestly don't know how safe it would be to give the drugs you mentioned to a dog. I'm not saying do it and I'm not saying you shouldn't.  I see your point and understand. Maybe try them with a tiny amount (crush the pills) See how that goes.  Just be careful not to give too much,  you can top up,but you cant take some back. Be careful.
