Question
Hi Shannon.  My Bichon is a two yr. old male.  He was neutered at 6 mos.  He still cocks his leg to pee.  The other 2 yr. old male squats to pee and was neutered the same day as the other.  No problems with him.  They see the vet at the end of the month.  Should/can dog be neutered again?

Hello Veronica,
Is he/she a male? If so, I think it may be time to neuter your dog. After you neuter your dog it will stop peeing around the house like that. It seems to me that he is marking his territory around the house. You may need to go to the vet. for this or you could go somewhere like petco if you do make sure you go to their store site and see there schedule for these kinds of things. But, I think it would be better to do that at the vet, it is much more safer, easier, and faster. Good luck!

Answer
Hi again,
No, a dog cannot be neutered again. You may have to go to a Dog Behavioral Specialist. Ask your vet if he can refer one of them to you. Since he is neutered already I think this is a behavioral issue than him marking his territory. This can or can not be serious. You can call up your vet and ask them about this (asking on the phone will cost you nothing) then after you find out about the Dog Behavioral Specialist make an appointment.
         Best of Luck,
