Dog biting family!!

Question
Since our last trip to the vet for a flea/tick dip, Our Norwegian Elkhound Loki who otherwise is the sweetest dog every, has become very aggressive, but only when we try to brush him, wipe his feet with a towel, put drops in is ears, or when two people at one time try to pet him or approach him basically anything vet like, which until this last visit there was never a problem with any of these things. We have used this vet office for years, but never for a dip. We have come to the conclusion something must have happened there to terrorize him, they did say that he was bad that day, but no more info was given. We love our Loki, he is a member of our family, but now he has bitten (badly) everyone in our house now. We are becoming scared of him. I can't turn to our vet, because I do not want to accuse someone, if nothing happened. But he was truly a sweet gentle dog up until then. Also he has had formal obedience training. HELP!

Answer
It could be that they didn't hurt him,but he just had enough at the vet-and now he thinks that that will happen to him all the time

What you can do is just gently go over his fur(without really brushing, just touching)with the brush and if he tollerates it,give him a small treat

If he growls use a spray bottle and say 'no' loud and firm as this is a serious issue-and for a while he may have to be muzzled for brushing until he behaves better

But it might also be a good idea to talk to some trainers and see if they can help you as well-you don't want to be taken to court,or worse have your dog taken away from you,and if a trainer can actually see what the problem is,they can fix it
