my bichon urinates often so I keep potty pads around& take her out often. She has been treated in past for possible uti. She recently developed an odor. I have appt with vet in 2days afraid something being missed. Shes 2yrs old now been with me for 1 1/2 yrs thought behavior prob in beginning but now very concerned. Any suggestions?

It does indeed sound like she has another UTI.

Chronic UTI could be a chemical imbalance, a problem with diet, or she may not be drinking enough water. It is pretty common in small breed dogs.

What food are you feeding her? How much water is she drinking? Have the vets checked for stones?
