hi i have a quick question,i have a bishon dog who is 9 yrs old, i just wanna know if im taking this too lightly here is my question: on july 24th 08 my dog had surgery on his ear bc he had a hemotoma, he has 11-12 stitches around his ear but the ear wound is still opened and has shown no signs of closing, i have been taking him back & forth to the vet concerning the ear,i took him to the vet aug 21 08 and the doctor gave me some cream to put on his ear to help the wound close but nothing, now here it is aug28 08 and he is still the same do u have any suggestions?

If the wound has not closed in a month, I would be concerned as well! Have you tried a second opinion from another vet? That would be my next step!

I'm sorry I can't be much more help- it sounds like he may need it to be re-stapled.
