Question

When thay are happy
Hi Kristin,
I really hope you can help. I have a chocolate lab that's 2 1/2 at this stage. Around Jan 08 she had a phantom pregnancy and made milk. At this time a stray yporshire terrier arrived at the front door and was very bruised and battered. Millie my lab started feeding him and eventually when it became clear no one was looking for him we adopted the terrier and he has lived here since. We had him nutured straight away as Millie hasn't been. For the first few months everything was fine but in the summer a problem started.
Scruffles the rescued terrier and the male dog started to bite millie. She gave Millie 2 very bad cuts on her ears and today I've noticed that she has a big nasty scrap on her nose. My question is why is this hapening and what can I do to stop it before I've to give scruffles away?

Any advice and help will be welcomed.
Thanks
Kate

Answer
the best way to stop this would be to muzzle both dogs, and let them sort out there ranks, once they know who's in charge the fighting will stop, and with muzzles they won't hurt each other, but still sort it out-it might take a few days but this does work
