breast plate harness

Is is ok for me to keep my calm pitbull on his harness while he is chained in the yard during the day. Is it better to keep the chain on his collar,

Hello Bishara, You know your dog best, if he is calm as you say and cannot manage to get out of the harness, then I think it is better to do that than a chain around the neck as it might eventually cause trachea (throat problems)  Thanks for asking, Cindy Lou :)
