ear infection

my female jack russell has a brownish waxy drainage, her ear is very pink from being scratched, and it looks a little swollen inside. Is there anything I can do for her at home or should I take her to the vet

This sounds like a ear infection hun. Unfortunately the only thing you can do for a ear infection is to take your Dog to the Vet for antibiotics and ear drops.

Ear infections in Dogs can spread very quickly and become internal which can cause deafness in the Dog and other problems. There is not effective herbal treatment available for a ear infection unfortunately.
