Pain in dogs leg

Dear Dr. I have a 9 month lab. He is very active dog and plays around a lot. About 5 days back, my helper pulled him out from under my table by pulling one his leg.Since then he has been limping and I notice he is not putting weight on that leg. He still plays around but slightly limping. I wonder if it is a sore muscle which will heal itself or should I take him to a vet

Hi Deepa,

Your dog needs to be examined by your vet. He is obviously in pain since he's not putting weight on his leg, after 5 days since the injury occured.

Please don't delay in getting your dog the treatment he needs.
