Help with big dog and little dog

My boyfriend has a 4 mth old wiemerhiner and I have a year old schnauzer. We try to let them play together but the weim. puppy is over taking my mini schnauzer. We supervise their play time and separate them when it becomes to rough. We love both of them. Any suggestions to help?

I don't know that there is too much more to do than keep a close eye on things, settling them when it gets too rough.  Usually if the larger puppy is older, they do a good job of backing off and not hurting the smaller one.  The Weim may require more reminders to take it easy.
