my pet has got some kind of rash on his stomach and im not sure wats wrong i need to know if its ring worms and wat can i do

1he has an rash or what lots like a rash on his stomach and in some areas it is dark
2the skin is not rah or scabed
3there are what seams to be a ring that is red on his stomach that is only about 1/2 inch wide and is red

Hi Julie,
If it is shaped like a ring, and from what you describe, it does sound like ring worm. This is very contagious and you can catch it too so be very careful.  Take him to a Vet so that meds can be prescribed. It's pretty easy to get rid of, but will spread so you need to get it taken care of right away.
