chi/mix puppy

My 5 mo puppy is SCARED of any and all out of the ordinary household noises.  She pees when the vacuum cleaner is activated, or the hair blower. How can I get her to adjust to these common house noises.  She runs from lound truck noises, very skittish.

Hi Doris
Take your dog out doors on walks where there is noise daily.  Walk across bridges, near traffic, pet and praise her until it is old hat with the noise.  It is evident the dog was never socialized at all and this is so sad as from a puppy they should be?
Walk her calmly about the streets, parks, play grounds, all places u can find, stop and pet her to assure her she is doing great.  Give a hug too.  Work daily on walks until she gets really good about this, she needs out of the house and worked with.  Maybe join in any Obedience class in your area for some social events.  IT is fun and would be so good for her, just practice and work and be patient and she will come around, being older will take a little more time.
