a friend just gave me a chihuahua about 1 yr old female not spade ,she was nice enough to take her for a physical & shots, Kita our new family member was a stray, any advice on how to make her more comfortable in her new surroundings?

Answer
1. I'd get her spayed (if you're short on funds, google "low cost spay neuter" and your state (eg low cost spay neuter PA, if you live in Pennsylvania.

2. Provide a crate for her so she can have "alone time" if she needs it.

3. Just love her.
