Pregnant american bulldog

Hello,
      I have an American Bulldog who is due to have puppies next week!!! For the past week or so her stomach has been making alot of noises, like swishing, gurgling etc..Is this normal, and happening because she is pregnant??? thanks for you help..

Hi Jenny,
Stomach noises do happen in pregnancy and its generally only a problem if the dog seems uncomfortable or is having trouble passing faeces or urine.  If the noises seem very excessive you could take her to the vet for an ultrasound to check everything is as it should be but I would not worry unduly as long as everything else seems as expected.
