Can she have pups

Baily is almost 4 she had only one litter the next time I tried to mate her she had the discharge about 2 weeks later now after her heat she just has the discarge.

Hi Dawn, I have a parti-cocker  she had one little all were fine. She lost last litter. I saw what best explains it tomatoe soup discharge in puddles I think she had some kind of infection or virus anyways she hasn't gotten pregnant again but she still goes in heat is she unable to have pups now.

Hi, How old is your cocker and when did you see the discharge?  How many times have you tried to get her pregnant and for how long (a year, two years etc)?

Hi, you need to take her into the vet and have a smear done on her.  She may harboring an infection that can cause her not to get pregnant as well as make males sterile (sort of like an STD in humans).  Most professional breeders require a brucellosis test before they will allow their studs to be used.  Here is a good link for it:
