Shih Tzuh Constipation

Question
We think that our 15 week puppy ate a piece of plastic (green) toy. He had a "movement" with MUCH SCREAMING, this morning and haven't pooped since. There were itty bitty pieces of the plastic (green) pieces inside of his last poop. What should we do to make him poop again? A phone vet told us to give the puppy a tsp of canned pumpkin. We did....but still no poop...What should we do?

there is actually a medicine u can get.
my dog had sort of the same thing she hadent pooped in about 2 weeks so i called the vet and she told me to go to a pharmacy aka (chemist) and get a liquid medicine called epes ands salts (i may not have spelt it right) but it moves there bowls and they get like a diahoria for a few mins and then he will poop dont worry
