Bloody stool and excessive urination.

Question
I have a 5 month old black lab and terrier mix (male) that has been producing a very pasty bloody stool and also has been releasing a massive amount of urine (alot more than usual) not on his puppy pad as trained but pretty much all over the house as if he can not control it.

Answer
If he has starting having loose stool, then its possible he has intestinal parasites, an over growth in the bacteria in his intestines, or even that he ate something that didn't agree with him.  I would suggest having your vet run a fecal if he hasn't been dewormed to rule that out.  You can try giving him a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice for a couple of days and see if it doesn't firm up.  I would suggest taking him in for the urination problem, however.  It's possible he has developed a urinary tract infection, especially if he was doing well with the potty training previously.
