introducing 2 senior and stubborn dogs

hi~  please, please help me with this!  my friend is basically dumping her dog on me (it's either me or put him to sleep).  i couldn't let her put him to sleep.  he's a 16 year old peke in perfectly good health.  the problem is, i have a 12 year old peke who is very spoiled, easily jealous, territorial, and unsocialized.  i'm not sure about how i should be introducing them.  i have to take the other peke in a couple of days.  i know that i should be keeping them in separate rooms until they are used to each other, but i'm not sure how to actually introduce them and what i should be doing to help them get along with each other.  thanks so much for whatever information you can provide!

Well what you can do is have them meet off of the property(so they don't view it as there territory)and slowly let them spend time together such as keeping them in different rooms and not leaving them along together when you are not home,also feeding them separately is also a good idea
