adopting a rottweiler mix

I am considering adopting a 4 yr old neutered male rottweiler mix--he seemed gentle when I walked him for about 20 minutes at the shelter. I have an invisible fence around my large yard, and it worked well with my late St. Bernard. Will a rottweiler respect the invisible fence?

I think a rottie would respect the fence,it isn't as much of what the breed is,but if the dog is a runner,some dogs are bold enough to dart through it,but it mostly seems to be herding dogs(like border collies)that tend to run through it

Gentle dogs aren't usually a problem,so I think he will be ok
