Question
My dog is about 4 years old i notice that he hasn't pooped in a couple of days is there anything i can do to help him i really cant afford to take him to the vet any suggestions would be help full thank you

I'm sorry, but the vet may be the only answer.  Otherwise, wait it out and hope for the best.  He may have an intestinal blockage.  If so, any sort of a laxative could kill him.  Such blockages are more likely with dogs that are problem chewers.  They are also a problem with rawhide and consumable chew toys.  Even sturdy toys such as a Nylabone can be eventually gnawed down to a dangerous size.  

It look like whoever you sent the question to originally has quit.  Yours is one of a large number of questions in the question pool this morning.  I am answering even though I don't have a good answer because I am afraid a less experienced person will suggest a laxative.  Many people give dangerous answers not knowing how little they know about dogs.  Sometimes a dog will clear a blockage after a few days, but often it takes surgery.
