Dogs pees on himself

I have a 1 1/2 yr old male german shorthair. When he pees (squatting), he lifts his butt too early and pees on his belly or has trouble aiming and pees on his leg. Is there anything to do to help fix this? Have you seen this before?

Some dogs just aren't much good at "aiming"!
This might improve with age, but it may not. You may want to keep a container of baby wipes near your door, and just give your dog a quick clean up when he comes back into your house.

You can't train a dog where to aim.
