getting dog back?

I got this dog from these people who didn't want her anymore so i took her in. i didn't get any ownership papers saying i owned her but i got her shots and got her fixed. anyone would say i was obsessed with her. when she got too big i lended her to a friend who had a yard. behind my back he got rid of her to a "friend" then the "friend" gave her away to a random guy. now he wont give her back to me. HOW DO I GET HER BACK?

I'm sorry you've lost your dog.

By most laws, dogs are seen as property. If your "property" has been stolen, then it's a police matter. I'd go down to your local police station (don't just call them). Show them the paid veterinary bills you have, as well as any photos you might have of the dog. Tell them who now has the dog, and file a report.

Other than that, I can't think of any way you might get your dog back. Should you get your dog back, you should know that a dog doesn't need a back yard to be happy, provided you give her adequate daily exercise in the way of leashed walks.
