My dog may possibly have a sprained paw.

My yorky came through our doggy door and started to limp. Now she is holding her right paw up and limps noticeably when she walks on it. I think it might be a sprain. I can't tell if there is swelling yet, but she doesn't want you to touch it. I don't see any thorns or stickers in her paw neither. Can you please help.

I'm not sure what time you sent this question to me, Angel, but could you give me an update? Has there been any swelling or anything since you posted? Have you thoroughly inspected her foot, including between the pads, to make sure she didn't step on something? Are you certain it is her >>foot<< that is the problem, and not her leg or shoulder?
