Getting another dog

Question
I currently have a 20 month old staffordshire bull terrier. He is a very bully boy, 27 kilos already and very muscular. We have just been given a 12 month old stafford bitch, I need some help with how to get them to behave together as at the moment this is the first night together and they are just play fighting, but i think carter my boy, is looking to have sex with kizzy, the bitch, is this normal? And also what can i do to help them be better friends???? Thank you

As far as the male trying to mate with the female, this could just be "dominance play."  If the female is not spayed, I would take care of that ASAP so that you don't end up with an accidental breeding.
