Up to what age can I get her tail cut?

Hi Ms Hotsy.  Tail docking is typically done when the puppy is between 3-5 days old.

If your puppy is older than 5 days, I strongly suggest that you reconsider having the procedure done.  Talk with your veterinarian's office and I'm sure they will agree that tail docking after the age of 5 days requires anesthesia, stitches,and much longer recovery time.  Complications such as pain, bleeding, poor healing, and scarring can occur.
