2 month old Pitbull Puppy having rashes

Question
QUESTION: My 2 month old pitbull puppy has weird skin rashes under his armpits in the front legs and behind. They are reddish and have scabbed scratch marks. The rash is also appeared in the top of his head. He has already had his shots and the dog food that we have been feeding him is called Natural Choice puppy food. It is a chicken meal, rice and oatmeal formula with natural ingredients with added vitamins, minerals, and taurine. I have heard that Pitbulls have allergies, but I've never seen anything like those rashes on a dog before. The only other animal that we have in the house is a cat, so would that be a possible clue for him having allergies as well? i noticed that he also has earmites from the cat and I have been treating that by cleaning out his ears with vegetable oil. So please, if you have any suggestions of what it could be, or if i need to change his food to something else, let me know as soon as possible. i need all your feedback.
Thank you,
   Natasha Epperly

ANSWER: Hi Natasha, I will give you some referrals.... Yes, your kid has allergies and possible yeast.  If my suggestions don't help you will need to see the vet...OK?
What country are you in?

QUESTION: The country I live in is the U.S., in Indiana, to be more precise. About 2 days ago, we treated him like it was mange, we bathed him in anti-bacterial shampoo and peroxide and then put mineral oil on him, which did seem to make him better. He's still scratching and stuff, but he doesn't look as bad. There are just red spots under is front arm pits and back legs. would that be allergies as well?

Answer
Sure, Yes, may be allergies, take a visit to the vet if my help doesn't work for you kid.
YES, this breed is so very prone to all kinds a skin/coat and allergy problems.
Sorry!!
Ok, yes, here is what I would do:  Get some doggie oatmeal shampoo from the local pet store.  Washand soak him in this 2 x per week and then just 1 x per week when itching and red.  Once the red areas are gone only give him 2 baths per month in the Oatmeal shampoo for dogs.

Next, please mix some Innova Puppy food with your current food - do this 50/50 mix for 3 weeks.  After that, go to 100% Innova puppy food until 8 months old / at that point go to Innova EVO adult food.

Also, I would like you to start on a Probiotic and also a good supplement for skin and coat:
give a  Flora Force - just 1 per day for 3 weeks, you can open this and mix it into the food.
