Strange gurgling coming from my Chis tummy!!

I am really worried because I woke up this morning to a very LOUD gurgling coming from my 1 year old little 2 lb girl Chihuahua - she seemed confused about the sound and I could tell something was wrong.

She's running and playing normally and she doesn't have diarrhea, but I'm concerned that maybe something is wrong...could it be because I gave her a little Avocado a few days ago??? I didn't know it was toxic until now, but I only gave her a very tiny bit..could something be wrong?

Please, I really want to take her to the Vet but my parents say they can't afford it! What can I do??? I'm so worried.

A little stomach gurgling, especially in the morning, and in the absence of other symptoms, is not something to become panicked about. If it persists or other symptoms develop you will have to have a veterinary check up.  Chihuahua's can be very sensitive and you should find a high quality food that works for her and stick to it, and avoid giving all sorts of snacks. Chis are also prone to obesity and panreatitis. Careful dietary management will be very important.

Often the stomach gurgles in the morning simply because it is empty. One way to offset this is to offer a small appropriate snack before bedtime so there are not as many hours between meals.I hope your dog is fine now.
