Shit-Zu Diet

I have a 3 year old Shit-Zu. My question is related to diet. I like to feed her only dog food and dog treats. Occasionally I'll give her carrots or a bit of gravy with bits of potatoes, lean beef or chicken in her
food. However, there is debate within the family over things like pizza crust, sausage, bacon, eggs, pork and steak bones. I've been told that Shit-Zu stomachs cannot digest human food well and can cause complications. What is your knowledge of what their diet should consist of?

Hello Sherry --- You are correct about using proper foods for your little shih Tzu or any doggie..
A small amount of pizza crust is ok.
No bacon, sausage or steak bones..
~~~~ eggs are fine a few days per week.

Make sure you a feeding a good food that is low in junk fillers such as corn.
