Urine crystals canine ; urinary health supplements for canines; UTI; Hills Prescripton diet;

Question
My dog has been on Hills Prescription Diet C/D food for many years now due to urine crystals.  Is there any other food that's better for her?  She is a 10 year old border collie mix.  Sometimes she only dribbles a very dark colored urine.

Hello Ellen - the only option other than the C/D from Hills is home made cooking - you can cook up the food 1 x per week and then freeze - just take out what you need.
Let me know if you want to feed home cooking.

The Problem with the Hill's C/D is it puts on weight ...
Because it has so many junk fillers in the food..
The dogs tend to get fat on that whole line of Hills/ Science Diet foods.
