My odd chihuahua

Question
My little chihuahua has been eating something weird... apples! I don't know why but she gobbles them down like she's never seen food before! We feed our dogs daily and I have a hamster. I ran out of hamster food for my hamster so I cut up apples and gave those to him, he loved them! There were some left so after feeding my dogs the same amount I do everyday I gave some to her. My other chihuahua walked away not interested but Molly ate a whole (chopped up) apple! Is that  good for her to eat apples? And why was she eating them?

Answer
Hi Abby,

Apples are good for dogs but there is a limit.  For a dog your size just a small slice (less that 1/4 of the apple) is fine.  Apples are high in sugars so feeding to much is not good.  The food I sell has apple in it.  It also contains Chicken Meal, Fish Meal, Carrots, Apples, Spinach, Celery, Alfalfa Meal, Ground Brown Rice, Powerful Antioxidants, Live Probiotics, Chelated Minerals.  It is fresher, safer and more nutritious than any foods you can buy at the store.  Give it a try and see the difference in your dogs.  http://www.pipschoice.com
