the best diet for weight gaining and money saving...

hello, my name is Saodt i'm from philly i have 4 pitbulls 2 girls 7 1/2 mths and 2 boys one 9mths. and the other 2 1/2 mths.. i feed them wht rice, with a mixture of dry dog food(pedigree) and sometimes chicken i stay away from the bones me, myself dnt like them for my pupps...this to me doesnt work am i doing something wrong...i feed them 2 times a day sometimes 3...also this is expensive is there a better way pls help....thank you for your tme...

Pedigree isn't that expensive and likely is as good as anything.  If they need to gain weight and will eat more of it, then just pile it in.  Remember, lean is healthy.   Your dog definitely should be narrower at the waist than the hips and chest. You should be able to easily feel the ribs, but not see them.  Each dog is different.  Standard recommendations are a good place to start, but each dog must have its food adjusted to its individual needs. If the dogs won't eat enough to maintain good body condition, check with the vet.
