feeding dogs

Is it safe to give pork rib bones to my boxer/lab mix?

I wouldn't.  Some people continue a practice and claim it is safe until their dog has a problem.  Bones can cause all sorts of problems.  Swallowed whole, the can choak a dog or block its intestines.  Sharp splinters can injure the mouth or digestive system.  They are also hard on the teeth.  While dogs enjoy bones, they are safer without them.
