poison

About 30 minutes ago, my golden ret. ate a starfish out of a table centerpiece.  I know there are many types of starfish, but in general are they considered poisonous to dogs and if so what should I do?

Giving a larger dog a table spoon of peroxide should make it throw up.  Don't do it if what it ate is sharp or caustic.
