nutrition for cancer

Question
My seven-year old, spayed, 35 pound, mixed breed dog just had a melanoma removed from her eyelid.

Please recommend supplements and nutrition to strengthen her to deal with this.  I will not be using chemotherapy or radiation treatments.

All you can do is feed a decent commercial dog chow that provides the complete and balanced diet dogs need.  There is no secret, magic formula to prevent cancer.  Most of those claiming there is are selling something or have been duped by others that are.  Challenge anybody that suggests a certain diet will help cancer to provide you with a controlled study proving it works.
