QuestionMy 5yr old Westie had some bladder stones removed last wk, and they have been sent for analysis. One vet told me not to change her diet till the results came out but then today another told me that I should put her on the CD diet and give her nothing else at all, starting from right now. This means no treats of any kind at all, no vegetables which she is rather fond of, no yogurt which I mix with her food, no diluted pet milk etc. I am confused and wonder whether to wait for the results before I make any changes or whether I should start right away. Can I give her just a few little treats ? Please help
AnswerHello Sabina, It is good to wait for the results of the KIND of stones or crystals. Then, you can figure if the C/D would be good or some home cooking.
Let me know the results, as I can give you some recipes.
