Nutro Natural Choice dry dog food

Hi Marie, I have a puppy he is 9 weeks, Lab/Vizsla mix and his wight is 10 and 1/2 lbs. My pup stool has been running. ever since I had him for 3 weeks. I have been halfing Alpo can food with Atta Boy dry dog food. And have slowly been taking away the can food and add more dry food, every week.
Some days his stool is more firm, and other days it is running. So I am going to change his dog food. This is my question, is Nutro Natural choice dry dog food any good to feed my puppy. Or is any other band of dog food, will be good for him?
I am tight on money now and can't afford the Innova, or Solid Gold dog food.  Thanks for your help!

Hi Amber - I would make sure this little one has been wormed x 2 ????
That may be the cause of the loose soft stools - Also, there could be a parasite probelm .. Bring in a stool sample to the vet.

As for foods, the brands are awful that you mentioned.
Can you find this one: NOT too expensive at all:  Chicken Soup for the Puppy lovers soul?????
That is an excellent food - call around and see if you can find it.

I sure don't like Nutro and I VERY much HATE the Atta Boy brand - awful junk........
If you feed your baby junk they will not grow well and they will be sick.

If you want to home cook, I can give you some lower cost recipes ...
Let me know if you want a few recipes.
