Royal Canin Hepatic

Hi---My 12 year old Schnauzer has the onset of enzymes in his liver, he takes Metacam for arthiritus and Epiphen low dose as he has had fits in the past. My vet has suggested feeding him on Royal canine Hepatic wet which he gets on well with ---can i mix rice or potatoe with it as he always seems hungry, or should i stick with just the tinned food, he is not keen in the dry Hepatic. would appreciate some advice    Thanks    Jeanette

Hi Jeanette,  Will he eat some canned low salt green beans?  You can cook them in a skillet with a dash of olive oil?
If not, yes you can add more rice only.

Sorry, It must  be very basic and strict diet.

I wonder if he can have a little more of the Royal Canine wet food?
