Maltipoo vomits every day, could be related to food?

I have a 5 month old Maltipoo whom I feed Halo 1 cup/day. I usually split it into 2 feedings (1/2 cup in AM, 1/2 cup in PM), although lately I have not.  He has been vomiting almost every day at random times clear to yellow fluid. I have never seen food in his vomit, however, it is happening to regularly now I'm beginning to wander what is going on. He has normal bowel movements and are at the same time every day. He loves to eat and has no problem finishing his meals. I know Halo is pretty new and PetCo seems to be the only carriers, but there are multiple "whole" products in this food and I thought it sounded good.  Do I need to switch food or feed him more often or should I take him to the vet??

f he wasn't vomiting when you were feeding twice a day, I would go back to it.  I don't have that much experience with smaller dogs, but have read that unlike larger dogs, they need feed at least twice a day.  It that doesn't help, I would talk to the vet.  I think in too many cases, people are too quick the blame the food and change instead of identifying the correct cause of a problem.  

I have no confidence in the premium chows.  Everything I see suggests dogs have more trouble on the premium chows than the common ones.
