QuestionI have a desexed 10year old female Jack Russell. I am careful with her diet but she is still very overweight. Due to an injury I cannot walk her often but play ball with her several times a day. Can you help me with a suitable diet please? I currently feed her a sachet of Pedigree dog food with approx 1/2 cup of dry dog food at night
Answer
grain free dog food
Wendy - here is a dog food you can make for a few months - helps to loose weight slowly... then, after 60 days go back to the Pedigree.
I know you are limited in your country.
dog food diet recipe: I will send you some if you want to cook:
Feeding your dog more often during this time will keep hunger under control. Generally, feeding 2-4 small meals throughout the day is recommended.
Otherwise - Almost home cooking with SoJo and you add our own low fat meats ( cooked)...
SoJo Green Bag is grain free - Just add the cooked meats ( mostly white meats - have the butcher grind you meats)
SoJo is sold in many stores all over the world ( pet stores) or see her : free shipping link:

You can feed 2 small or 3 very small meals of SoJo per day.
After some time - you may be able to go back to your Pedigree - see if you can find the weight loss formula of Pedigree.
BEST wishes
